Dog Portraits
Professional dog portraits and pictures can be done in my studio or on location. I can travel to dog parks and catch them in action or find a natural setting for a more formal portrait. I also have a variety of backgrounds to choose from for a studio dog portrait done at my location or yours. The ocean at sunset is a beautiful backdrop for a portrait. The Oakland hills area also has many trails and wooded areas that make for good dog portrait scenes. I have two dogs of my own and have them sit in for my light testing whenever I set up for a portrait. Little Buddy is a great subject and sits atop a box looking regal. The best way to get a dog to cooperate during a sitting is to offer treats. Not just the normal treats either, but something really special for the dog to grab their attention during the dog portrait session. I have a supply of interesting bits for dogs, but if you know of special treats for your dog please bring them along.
Do you need help with dog training or dog walking. I have found dog trainers in Oakland that have helped Sadie and me. I had been working with Sadie for a year trying to get her to heel next to me, not half a body length in front. One session with Lori of Pawderosa and a little work on my part and Sadie is so happy by my side. Amazing results.
